Funding is available to support households in Blackburn with Darwen or Lancashire through the provision of energy fuel vouchers.

 

We are pleased to announce Youth Action has been awarded energy vouchers to support families in Blackburn with Darwen or Lancashire through this difficult period.

 

ELIGIBILTY

⚡️     A pre-payment meter for gas and/or electricity including pre-payment smart meters

📧   A valid and accessible email address individual to the applicant

🏡   A permanent address in Blackburn with Darwen or Lancashire

 

This fund is in response to the hike in energy prices. Beneficiaries do not have to be in receipt of benefits and any households who have accessed other schemes previously can access the scheme again.

Households may be eligible for vouchers worth between £28.00 (individuals) and £49.00 (families). We can accept one application per household. Up to three vouchers per household can be allocated. You only need to complete the request form once.

Therefore, up to:

      • £84.00 is available for individuals and
      • £147.00 for families

 

Who: For any household (families or individuals) who are struggling with energy needs and need help at the moment.

 

What: Energy Vouchers for pre-payment gas and/or electric meters including pre-payment smart meters.

 

Why: This fund is in response to the hike in energy prices. Beneficiaries do not have to be in receipt of benefits.

 

Vouchers: Vouchers will be issued by either SMS or email, so please ensure you enter accurate information.

Demand is expected to be very high, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
