You are being invited to attend the Online Safety Competition Presentation Ceremony as part of the Bwd Safety Net Campaign.

The event is free to register and is open to all – parents and professionals, those who work to support children and families across Blackburn with Darwen. The event will take place virtually.
Background
The presentation is part of the BwD Safety Net Campaign around online safety. As part of the campaign the views of young people were sought in order to inform future campaign activity through an online safety poster competition.
This presentation will:
- Showcase all young people’s entries, highlighting what top 3 key messages about internet safety they thought were important
- Winners and runners up will be announced, as per competition terms.
- Have guest speakers talk about online safety and introduce the wider campaign.
After the screening of the exhibition we hope to share the BwD Safety Net Campaign: Online Safety presentation – so it can continue to raise awareness and encourage discussion both during and post Covid lockdown.
